Global Intergenerational Week 2023 is just around the corner!
We are delighted to welcome our participants for an intergenerational paint along to celebrate the launch of the week!
Grandparents are invited to bring along their children, grandchildren or other family members for a paint along with artist and AFU participant Mary McCarthy to recreate “Kildavnet Tower, Achill Island”
In teams of two, participants will be recreating the picture using palette knives, oil and acrylic paints.
The event will take place on Saturday 15th April, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on DCU St. Patrick’s Campus, in art room FG24, located behind the library.
The cost of this event is €20 per painting pair which covers the costs of the painting materials and will be collected on the day.
The class is for beginners and is limited to 10 painting pairs.
Please bring along:
– water, snacks, and lunch.
– old rags for cleaning
– apron, old shirt, or tee shirt to cover your clothes
– kitchen roll, baby wipes
Parking is available on campus, but you must cover your parking fees. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
