Global Intergenerational Week 2022

Wool in School

Ahead of the Global Intergenerational Week we want to showcase a business that is doing great intergenerational work: Wool in School!
They are an eco education business which supports sustainability and climate change, Intergenerational learning and the wider community.
“Our Knit-Stitch initiative aims to bring young and older people together through this creative and mindful activity. Knit -Stitch promotes intergenerational learning by creating new
possibilities and connections through our tradition of knitting. We aim to strengthen this bond between older people and children with wool and magic, by knitting a beautiful bunting together representing friendship, courage, strength and most importantly knitting our lives back together.”
Be sure to have a look at their page Wool in School and check out their website https://www.woolinschool.com/
